Open Cloud Telekom - VMs reneal 2020
During 2020 most of the hyperscalers renewed their VM products for a new series with lower price and better performance. Open Cloud Telekom isn't an exception and released 2 new product lines: Dedicated CPU C4 and General Purpose S3. T-Systems has requested Cloud Mercato to perform a comparative analysis on the compute infrastructure of Open Telekom Cloud. The study aims 3 goals:
- Collect performance data from former and new generations of OTC VM products
- Collect performance data from OTC and their main competitors which are
- Perform a Price/Performance comparison
The full inventory used for this project is available in the Inventory menu on top. A wide variety of benchmark has been launched to compare the virtual machines' components, each of these test scenarios are explainedd and consultable interactively through their own section on top.
