Open Telekom Cloud 2020 - FIO Bandwidth

Beside IOPS, we also used thoughput/bandwidth to qualify storage performance and like IOPS we used FIO to collect this metric. For this scenario, the following configuration has been used:

• Block size: Small size of 1MB
• Access: Read and write not mixed
• Mode: Sequential avoiding necessary computation
• No file system: Only infrastructure performance are relevant
• Miscellaneous: We avoid most as possible buffers and cache
